Potassium rich food
The table below lists foods high in potassium shown with greatest first. All foods are per 100 grams (3.5oz) for comparison purposes and because its difficult to estimate an average serving for each potassium rich food.
Natural plant foods are usually high sources of potassium compared to many processed foods which are often low in potassium but high in sodium. The best potassium rich food sources must be high in potassium but low in sodium because sodium makes the body hold water. This can mean up to 5 pounds of extra weight can be easily gained simply due to high sodium (often due to salt) foods.
Processing often reduces the
content of potassium in foods. Cooking
foods in large amounts of water will
also reduce its high potassium levels. Eating the skins of
fruits
and
vegetables when possible will help gain the most from potassium
rich foods.

390 mg is 10 meq if dealing with 'elemental'
Potassium
2350 mg is 10 meq if dealing with Potassium Gluconate
1 Eq is 1mol if you are talking about a monovalent
ion (like potassium).
So 20 mEq is 20 mmol.
Potassium Gluconate has a molar weight of 234.246 g/mol, so
unfortunately that means 4684.9 milligrams or 8 of those pills. This is
because Gluconate is a huge molecule. When comparing with
potassiumchloride, you only need to take 1500 milligrams of
potassiumchloride to get the same amount of potassium.
